S.T.A.R. is "Seeing The Arts Restored" To the Church
This is a trans-denominational ministry. Our desire is to see artistic
expression restored to the proper place in the Kingdom of God. We
believe praise is a powerful and effective communication for the truth
and the Gospel. We believe praise is essential to the vitality of the
Body of Christ for celebration and spiritual warfare. We believe
Scriptural praise includes instruments, singing and dance in agreement
with Psalm 149 and 150.
MISSION:
To impact the church and the world through artistic expression,
making the most of every opportunity to glorify God.
PURPOSE:
To restore artistic expression to its proper place in the church body
and to encourage the church to support artists of all kinds. To use
God-oriented art as a tool for evangelism by public use, increasing
the God-awareness of those exposed to its influence.
GOAL:
To encourage, teach and train Christian artists with a heart for God
and to give them opportunity to share their form of expression. To
concurrently reinforce relevant scriptural and spiritual truths and to
encourage a lifestyle of worship. To expose both local and outside
communities to artistic expression as a form of worship.
S.T.A.R. Participates in local events and promotes the arts with
concerts, church presentations, and participation in local events. We
have also had opportunity to minister through worship arts in Ukraine
in partnership with Family Aid International based in Grove, OK and
Kiev, Ukraine. In Ukraine we have ministered in churches in Kiev,
Kherson, Odessa, Nikolayev, and Chernigiv in churches associated
with the Embassy of God church in Kiev. We also have ministered
likewise in the streets of Mexico City and surrounding cities in
partnership with Global Missions Training Institute, Summerville, SC. We
are currently planning more outreaches to Ukraine.

About the founders of STAR

Chuck and Rita Hilton…
Of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, have a vision for restoring the arts to their
God-intended purpose.  Chuck is a musician and worship leader.  They
have ministered in Ukraine and in Mexico in various aspects of the arts.

Jesse and Tanya Adams…
Are owners and operators of F/X Design and Production, based in
Northwest Arkansas.  Jesse has years of experience with sound, lighting
and special effects.  He and his Ukrainian wife, Tanya, have a passion for
the creative worship arts.  

Rod and Janine Meyers…
Of Beth Messiah Messianic Ministries are educators in the Springdale,
Arkansas area.  They teach locally regarding Judaic roots and Hebraic
dance.  Janine brings wisdom, experience and creative input to S.T.A.R.

Matt and Amy Schmidt…
Are dancers from Columbus, Ohio.  Amy founded Shouts of Joy Dance
Ministry.  She has attended the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem as a
dancer with the International Christian Embassy.  She has diverse giftings
and is a joyful inspiration!
